»Food Systems – Fit for the Future?«

To mark its 10th anniversary, the Fraunhofer Food Chain Management Alliance organizes the symposium »FOOD SYSTEM – FIT FOR THE FUTURE?«. As a member of the alliance, Fraunhofer IPM invites partners and customers to learn about innovative technological approaches for optimized value chains in the food industry and to discuss with guests from science and industry. On the agenda:

  • Consumer Focus: reliably deliver safe quality foods customized to consumer needs
  • Resource Efficiency: fight losses and waste in the food chain
  • Transparency and Trust: enable informed, better decisions

Fraunhofer IPM: Exhibit and presentation

Fraunhofer IPM will participate in the exhibition. Furthermore, Jan-Kees Boermann, CEO of the Dutch Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS) BV and our partner in the Eurostars project FreshFruitLab, will present the demands of today’s fruit warehouses, the suitable measurement technology and research findings of the project.
