Fraunhofer IPM will showcase laser scanning technology for the efficient inspection of underwater infrastructure (underwater laser scanning) and seabed topography surveying. We cover the entire 3D data processing chain, from robust systems that capture the 3D geometry and position of objects, to data evaluation and visualization. We will present ULi, a LiDAR system for underwater inspection, as well as our airborne bathymetric laser scanner, which is a multi-wavelength LiDAR system used for surveying the seabed's topography. These will be complemented by 3D-AI, software that automatically interprets 3D data.
