»Tailor-made wavelengths« - from components
to systems
We present our solutions for light generation and detection based on non-linear optical frequency conversion. The portfolio ranges from individual components like periodically-poled nonlinear optical crystals and waveguides to turn-key light sources for science and industry.
Highlight in this year’s exhibit are our newest results on the »maskless poling« of nonlinear optical crystals. It allows us to structure crystals with a challenging poling behaviour. This includes Barium Magnesium Fluoride, which is transparent deep into the vacuum UV range and a promising candidate to generate laser light at 149 nm for the future Thorium nuclear atomic clock.
