3D measurement technology

We develop optical measurement systems for capturing large structures and objects in 3D. These systems consist of laser scanners and customized lighting and camera systems that capture georeferenced geometry and surface properties in high resolution.  

 

Optical distance
measurement

Pulsed time-of-flight and phase shift measurements are the method of choice for measurements between a few centimeters up to several hundred meters.

 

Image acquisition | Intensity measurements

We obtain high-resolution images of surface structures by using camera systems, adaptive lighting and laser intensity measurements. 

 

Scanning

We develop various types of deflection units that are tailored to the deflection speed, resolution and scan field needed for the measuring task.

 

Apps | Low-cost sensor technology

We develop low-cost, easy-to-use sensors for capturing structures, e. g. for construction site documentation.
