Fraunhofer IPM will showcase laser scanning technology for the efficient inspection of underwater infrastructure (underwater laser scanning) and seabed topography surveying in shallow waters. We cover the entire 3D data processing chain, from robust systems that capture the 3D geometry and position of objects, to data evaluation and visualization.

Exhibits

We will present the Underwater LiDAR System ULi for underwater infrastructure inspection and the Airborne Bathymetric Laser Scanner ABS, a multi-wavelength LiDAR system for surveying the seabed's topography. These will be complemented by 3D-AI, a software for automated interpretation of 3D measurement data.
