Professorship for Optical Systems

At the laboratory for Optical Systems at IMTEK, eight scientists, PhD- and master-students develop microoptical systems. Main fields of research are optical parametric oscillators, whispering gallery-resonators and the structuring of optical nonlinear materials.

The Laboratory is headed by Prof Karsten Buse, Executive Director of Fraunhofer IPM. Group Manager Dr Ingo Breunig organizes research activities at the chair.
