Inspecting surface cleanliness and the quality of coatings

We will be presenting an optical method based on fluorescence laser scanning that can be used to inspect the cleanliness of components and the quality of coatings. Our F-Scanners enable spatially resolved 100-percent inspection of surfaces and provide a high-resolution image of the object to be tested. This makes them suitable for detecting unwanted residues of process aids as well as for inspecting functional coatings.

InMoDie research project:

As part of the InMoDie* research project, we used fluorescence laser scanning to measure release agent application in die casting processes. In the future, the measurement data will be used to control the dosage of release agents during application. Our experts will be happy to present the project to you.
