Gas and Process Technology

Miniaturized sensors and systems | Spectroscopy methods | Heat transfer via heat pipe | Cooling with caloric systems

In our Gas and Process Technology department headed by Professor Jürgen Wöllenstein, we develop and manufacture measurement and control systems for gases and liquids to fit our clients’ briefs. In our research and development, we rely on a range of different technologies – from spectroscopic methods for gas analysis and energy-efficient gas sensors to thermal sensors and quantum magnetometers for flow metering. Our robust sensors and systems are used wherever short measurement times, high accuracy, and reliability are required, no matter how extreme the conditions. They are employed in exhaust gas analysis, process measurement technology, as much as in environmental, energy, and medical technology.
